I was wondering how many millionaires have been made in South Africa since the lotto started, as well as millionaires made from the Powerball, Sportstake and Wina Manje. Once again, no one managed to match the 5 correct numbers as well as the powerball for the Powerball South Africa draw for the 20th of July 2012. 4 people however got lucky with getting all 5 numbers correct. The great news is 4 people will benefit because of this, however I can't imagine they can be excited to be sharing the money.

We all dream of winning the lottery, because we have bills to pay, and debts to catch up on, and family members that need our help. Thousands upon thousands of people play the lottery and the powerball every week, with the hope that they just could be that lucky and win, because they think it literally could change their lives.

He is a lucky guy indeed , he was the one out of the 278,256 odds of winning. I could gladly switch places with him right now, but all the best to him.

Seymour couple wins $60 million Lotto jackpot

Wow, people really do win. Whether its in South Africa or the world over, the lotto has made millions out of people.

Take Noel Peel who hails from Seymour, bought himself a ticket at John's Deli, where he usually eats his first meal of the day, breakfast. Then in June, he just decided to buy a ticket for lotto with his meal, and he happen to pick the right combination of numbers.

All I can say is that the guy is lucky, he is the only one who got that combination, therefore the jackpot does not have to be divided. He walks away with a whopping $60 million. Eish, just 0.01% of that would save my life right now!

Powerball South Africa Report - Thomas Josapak, who is 60 years old, from Palm Harbor, claimed a $1 million POWERBALL® prize from last Saturday’s drawing. I would say that's not too bad for a tidy retirement sum!

The winning numbers are 3-5-29-39-59 and the might powerball was 29. Do you see a pattern here, 29, 39 and 59?

 And the guy found out from reading his newspaper, that his numbers match those on the paper. Mm I can only imagine the excitement of that moment!
